How do I set the code. The instructions are too brief!

Easy to set password: The trim panel is on the back of the faceplate. Just turn the circular hole to the digit like. For example, the password is "1267", you can press "7621 + C" 2167 + C "6712 + C" + C "... etc when opening the lock. No need for sequence requirement

Once the code is set can you change the code to new one?

Yes you can. We've done it. The instruction sheet should contain the know-how.
