We've been using hotmax for years. I've tried a lot of other compressed type logs but these are my favourite and not the cheapest but the best value IMO. I put a couple a couple of small bits and a big bit on once the kindling gets going and they help to get the stove up to temperature fast and get a nice draw going up the flue. Also great for reviving the fire if I forget it while I'm cooking dinner or something.

These are about half the price of hardwood logs from my local supplier. They're also about half as good, but they do have their advantages.They're not particularly ideal as the solitary fuel source in my wood burner, I've decided its best to use solid logs for the most part because these hotmax expand on burning and can throw the fuel around. I've been putting three briquettes along the back of the fire when first lighting, and then no more for that session.They want to produce flames and do pack a lot of heat. They use recycled wood which is great.I received about 10% sawdust where briquettes had either broken apart in transit or were manufactured incorrectly.I might buy them again, I might not, time will tell if I miss them when they're gone..

Product fine but arrived in torn outer cardboard packaging, dumped outside the front gate and probably spent the night in the rain. I had expected it to be delivered to the doorstep and did not look outside the gate in the dark. It dis not arrive in daylight hours to a spot visible from the house.

Delivered on time and professionally. Item it better than expected! Lots of heat logs in the bag. No issues at all. Thank you!

This is the 2nd bag I’ve bought and I’ve been absolutely delighted with how long these logs burn for and the heat they give out. I’m already recommending them to friends and family

Work well in logburners, and good value for money/However this batch was diificult to break into individual units, and thus was less economic, and more likely to burn too hot and soot up the log-burner

Helps to get fire started and reasonable prices

Impressed I’ve tried all of these types of products and these doLast and are good value….. heavy tho 🤣
