What I like about this mount is the ease of mounting it, the shrink tubing that covers the clamps, the fact that they give you 2 sizes of clamps. The small ones fit my 5 BC extinguisher and it doesn't rattle like I have read in some reviews.It's sturdy and the red pull nob is easy to operate.Beats the heck out of those worthless Nylon strap-on's.I highly recommend you get one of these, don't waist your cash on the cheap alternative.

I was hoping this could be used to attach a fire extinguisher to my SUV's external spare-tire carrier. But there is too much wobble between the two main components of the assembly for that purpose. While it isn't suited to motorized-vehicle use due to the wobbling, it still is a good, well-made product for static, wall-mounted use.

I've now bought and installed 4 of these. All on boats, including 1 each on our pleasure and fishing boats. Hard to complain, they are easy to install, work great and are perfect to mount an extinguisher in an easily accessible manner. I would definitely recommend and purchase again if needed.

Really pleased with this product. I bought this to mount to my trucks bed rack. I saw many had this on a roll bar for their jeep and other vehicles, so I was hoping this would attach flush to a flat piece of strut. It mounted great, is sturdy against the strut and was very simple to install. The mounting base has a slight curve to it, so it seems it would mount completely flush to a roll bar. The fire extinguisher feels snug and doesn't move or rattle as I'm driving. The pin is easy to pull to quickly get the fire extinguisher off the mount, and is just as easy to remount. I definitely recommend it.

Great mount. I attached it to my Desert Does It Multi Mount Panel in front of the passenger seat. The fire extinguisher rides securely without rattling and releases quickly and easily by pulling the detent pin. Easy to install and looks good.

Mounted to the roll cage on my truck. Release mechanism is a touch loose, but it seems to hold well. Looks nice and makes accessing the fire extinguisher easier. Included hose clamps could be a little better quality

The media could not be loaded. Update:Now that I've had some time to ride, the fire extinguisher also rattles. You get what you pay for, and I was cheap.Original post:I bought this to fit my 5 lb First Alert fire extinguisher but largest the hose clamps included are slightly too small. The circumference of the fire extinguisher was 104mm. Sure enough the description says only up to 101mm. That is my mistake. However, their mistake, and the reason I deducted a star, was them using a 5lb fire extinguisher in the stock photo. If you loo closely at the first photo in the listing they show a 5lb fire extinguisher, but it is using a hose clamp with a UPC sticker on it. The clamps in this kit do not have UPC stickers. Clearly that photo was taken by someone who bought aftermarket hose clamps from home depot/lowes/etc. Next time I'll get out my caliper and not trust photos.
