Great for heat dissipation on a Mac Mini!
A little odd to be reviewing a defrosting tray for computer use, but I heard in a forum someone had used one to help cool a mini pc.This was a last resort before I considered just mounting a large aluminum heat sink on there. I live in Florida, and used a particularly hot aftermarket SSD for such a small case- so I had a bit more than average heat concerns over a stock unit.The aluminum is almost a perfect match for the Mac Mini. I noticed an impressive improvement, but your mileage may vary. If you are having heat issues with your mini, give it a whirl- you might be pleasantly surprised. What can you lose?

great idea
I was extremely skeptical when I received this product. how in the world could a metal board thaw my food? well, I opened the box, and immediately decided that I was going to request my money back because I knew that it was not going to work. to my surprise I was wrong! there were no instructions on how this thawing tray worked or any hints on the best way to use it, so I winged it. I planned on baking some boneless pork chops, so I took them out of the package and set them on the thawing tray. the thawing tray is not very large, so for a large family like mine you may need 2 trays. I was able to get 7 small pork chops on the tray. I put them on the tray and let them sit for 45 mins. they were not completely thawed out, but I could definitely tell that they were about 60% thawed. I turned them over on the other side and let them sit for another 20 minutes and they were completely thawed! there was no water or blood anywhere, it did not make a mess. it was super easy to clean. I don't think this tray would be beneficial if you are needing to thaw large cuts of meats like brisket or frozen turkeys, but for small every day meals it is good. I only gave this tray four stars because there definitely needs to be some instructions included.I received this product at a discount for my honest and unbiased opinion
