My partner loves this rod
I bought this rod as a gift for my fiancés Christmas. I don't have the first clue about fishing so wasn't to sure I was buying the right thing. After reading some of the reviews I took a chance and bought it. My partner loves it, I'm glad I picked the right one as he has another more expensive rod. He says he wouldn't use a different make now and is convinced I got advise from my father in law on what rod to buy haha. Thanks to everyone who left a review I actually got something right about fishing for once and made a grumpy man happy. Hehe xx

Higher quality than expected
Well packaged and exceptionally light overall. A lot better than the old cane type rods I used 50 years ago!Flies were not great and the maker would do well to cut these out, or improve heir quality.The fixing of the reel went well but the grip appears to be cork covered in a plastic whereas the description says it is wooden.The case is superb too....

For the price this is a great piece of kit
For the price this is a great piece of kit. My reel did break after a while so the tension has gone and have to play the fish by hand rather than on the reel which personally I don't mind anyway. For those that play on the reel I recommend you purchase a better one

Great value and great product.
Awesome product, came really quick and prompt, reel looks to be good quality rod feels great came with a second tip piece also, not sure if that was a packaging error but overall great value and a great product flies don't look the best but hey I didn't buy them for the flies lol.Happy chap.

Still not caught
Bought this at Xmas for myself still havnt caught in a loch with it been told to small only good for streams in Scotland hardly no good enough streams mostly lochs and rivers not suitable for this land however very well made no dout in that flies and line poor reel and rod solid
